This presentation will focus on the use of Google Documents as a tool for collaboration. We have specific examples of how students use it to collaborate with each other and with teachers in literacy. In another example, we used Google Documents as a tool to collaborate with other teachers in planning writing and reading units. We have discovered that our work, in using Google Docs as a tool to plan and collaborate, reinforces the inclusive classroom for our learning support students who receive some instruction outside of the homeroom classroom.
